Former Monstar member returns with new stage name

(Dan Tri) - Vuong Binh attracted attention when he returned to the entertainment industry. He is a former member of the music group Monstar, and used the stage name Zino.

Monstar debuted in 2016 with 3 members including Erik, Nicky and Key. Trained in Korean style with careful investment in image and music, the group quickly received the attention of the audience.

In 2017, Erik suddenly announced that he would leave the group and work independently. After that, Monstar added 3 members Doan The Lan (Grey D), J and Zino. In 2021, the group returned with the MV Co hen voi thanh xuan and announced their disbandment.

After Monstar left, the members also pursued their own paths. Recently, Zino suddenly returned with a new stage name, Vuong Binh, and released the album "Anh bo vai" consisting of 8 songs.

Sharing about the time after the group disbanded, Vuong Binh said that at first he felt a bit disappointed, but with his passion for music, the male singer still persistently pursued the path he had chosen.

Over the past time, Vuong Binh has been practicing more skills and nurturing new music projects. This album is like a novel told through music revolving around a 10-year unrequited love.

The songs are all pop ballads, with narrative colors, with poetic lyrics, evoking gentle, peaceful emotions in each person.

In particular, the MV is built like a movie with the setting in Ben Tre (Vuong Binh's hometown) and some scenes filmed in China. The content revolves around the feelings of a boy for his classmate.

Music director Hua Kim Tuyen shared: "Vuong Binh has made me break the stereotype that I don't work with male artists. Up until now, I have rarely worked with male artists. This is the first time I have made an album for a male artist and I feel very happy, like I am exploring a new horizon with this project.

We want the artist's musical personality to be closely linked to his or her background, personality, and personal desires. Vuong Binh comes from Ben Tre, so the music we make for Binh has a touch of the place where Binh was born so that everyone can see the connection between the music and the artist's personality."
