The patient was admitted to the hospital with flu-like symptoms: high fever, dry cough, sore throat, fatigue. After only 24 hours, the condition rapidly worsened: difficulty breathing, low blood pressure, cyanosis, impaired consciousness, diffuse lung damage, multiple organ failure.
Very quickly, the doctors and nurses of the Intensive Care and Anti-Poison Department implemented intensive resuscitation measures such as: blood and sputum cultures to find the bacterial cause, invasive mechanical ventilation, gradually increasing the dose of vasopressors, continuous blood filtration, and early and targeted combination of antibiotics.
After 5 days of intensive treatment, the patient gradually got out of danger and two weeks later, the patient was able to breathe and talk on his own.
