(Dan Tri) - While extinguishing a fire at a house in an alley on Tran Dinh Xu Street, District 1 (HCMC), authorities were able to rescue a woman and she escaped safely.
At around 1:30 p.m. on January 28, a fire broke out at a house in alley 42 Tran Dinh Xu, Co Giang ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City.
The alley leading to the scene of the fire was less than 2 meters wide. Upon discovering the fire, some people in the house and neighboring households quickly fled the area.

The Fire Prevention and Rescue Police of Ho Chi Minh City Police (PC07) and District 1 Police arrived at the scene. The police pulled 20m of water pipes deep into the alley. In another direction, the police climbed onto the roof of a neighboring house to spray water to put out the fire. About 20 minutes later, the fire was under control. The fire did not cause any human casualties.
"The house that caught fire was small. The burned property was household items. During the fire fighting process, the elite force of PC07 Department rescued a woman inside and got out safely," said a police officer.
