In the prize structure of the HCMC Television Cycling Cup, the racer who won the yellow jersey received 200 million VND, the second place received 100 million VND, the third place received 50 million VND and the 4th to 10th place received 20 million VND. Therefore, the racer not only competed for the yellow jersey but also fiercely competed for the second and third places.

On April 24, the racers competed in stage 19 of the Ho Chi Minh City Television Cycling Cup from Phan Thiet to Vung Tau City with a race route of 176.5 km.
