General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong's book is a valuable theoretical and practical handbook.

On the occasion of the 93rd anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam National United Front - Traditional Day of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2023), on the afternoon of November 18, in Hanoi, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front presided over and coordinated with the Central Propaganda Department and the National Political Publishing House Truth to organize the launching ceremony of the book "Promoting the tradition of great national unity, building our country to be increasingly rich, civilized and happy" by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.

Attending the ceremony were comrade Bui Thi Minh Hoai - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Committee for Mass Mobilization; comrade Do Van Chien - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front ; comrade Vu Thanh Mai - Deputy Head of the Central Committee for Propaganda and Education and comrade Vu Trong Lam - Director - Editor-in-Chief of the National Political Publishing House Truth chaired the ceremony.

Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Do Van Chien affirmed that this is a very valuable book, summarizing practices, supplementing and elevating theories on the cause of great national unity, which has been deeply researched and analyzed, gathering documents, images, articles and typical speeches of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong towards the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations, mass organizations and all classes in society.

These are outstanding ideas, profound vision, dialectics, and practices on great national unity, following Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh's thought, in line with the reality of the Vietnamese revolution. The writing style is simple, easy to understand, easy to remember, profound, and touches people's hearts. The content of the book exudes the great ideas and sincere feelings of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong on building and promoting the tradition of great national unity in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.

"The book "Promoting the tradition of great national solidarity, building our country to be increasingly rich, prosperous, civilized and happy" will be a long-term handbook on theory, practice, and historical significance, on promoting the strength of great national solidarity in the current period, thereby helping Party committees, the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels, cadres and party members in the political system to study and apply in practice; it is a political basis to thoroughly grasp and build an action program to implement the Resolution of the 8th Central Conference, 13th term, on continuing to promote the tradition of great national solidarity, building our country to be increasingly rich, prosperous, civilized and happy", comrade Do Van Chien emphasized.

At the same time, comrade Do Van Chien said that the Party Delegation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front will direct the concretization in the Resolution of the Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels for the 2024-2029 term; arouse and promote the strength of great solidarity and creativity of all classes of people, realize the aspiration to build our country to develop strongly, on par with the great powers of the five continents as beloved Uncle Ho always wished.

Comrade Vu Thanh Mai - Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, commented that the book is a sharp weapon to protect the Party's ideological foundation, fight against false and hostile arguments about ethnicity and religion, and take advantage of ethnic and religious issues to cause division and sabotage the great solidarity of the Vietnamese people.

To spread the meaning and great and profound value of the book, comrade Vu Thanh Mai suggested that press agencies proactively coordinate with relevant agencies to develop plans and programs to strongly promote the book's content in the electronic version and the traditional paper version; member organizations of the Front, the core of which is the propaganda agency, need to organize for cadres and party members to read, study and thoroughly grasp the book's content; organize the compilation of documents to thoroughly grasp and study the book's content in the training programs of political schools from the central to local levels; organize scientific seminars on the book's topics and content.

The content of the book "Promoting the tradition of great national unity, building our country to be increasingly rich, civilized and happy" includes an overview and 75 typical speeches, articles, speeches, interviews, letters, appeals along with 142 photos vividly reflecting the visits and work in localities and bases of 63 provinces and cities of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.

The book consists of three parts: "Great national unity - Endogenous strength, the decisive factor for the victory of the cause of building and defending the Fatherland", "Promoting the core political role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations, contributing to the successful implementation of the country's socio-economic development goals", "Promoting the role of all classes of people and localities, contributing more to the cause of national renewal".
