In An Giang province, according to updates from the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, rice prices remain stable today. Currently, OM 18 rice is priced at 7,800 - 8,000 VND/kg; OM 5451 at 7,600 - 7,700 VND/kg; fresh Long An glutinous rice at 7,800 - 8,000 VND/kg; Dai Thom 8 rice fluctuating around 7,700 - 8,000 VND/kg; IR 504 at 7,300 - 7,500 VND/kg; Nang Hoa 9 rice fluctuating around 7,500 - 7,700 VND/kg; and OM 380 rice remains stable around 7,500 - 7,600 VND/kg.

Rice prices stabilize at the end of the harvest season.

Observations in many localities today show that rice supplies are low, and farmers are maintaining high asking prices. Accordingly, in Bac Lieu and Soc Trang, demand for rice for market sales is quite high, with only slight price fluctuations. Only a small amount of fresh Japonica rice remains for resale, with stable prices for both fresh and dried rice. In Kien Giang, the quality of late-season Japonica rice is slightly lower, and prices have dropped slightly. In An Giang , warehouses are inquiring about purchasing a lot of dried rice, but traders are not yet selling…

On the rice market, prices remained relatively stable, with only raw and finished rice prices decreasing slightly by 50 VND. Specifically, the price of IR 504 raw rice fluctuated around 11,300 - 11,400 VND/kg, down 50 VND/kg; finished IR 504 rice fluctuated at 13,750 - 13,850 VND/kg, down 50 VND/kg.

Regarding by-products, prices remained stable today. Accordingly, the price of IR 504 rice bran remained stable at 11,200 - 11,300 VND/kg; dry rice bran fluctuated around 5,200 - 5,300 VND/kg.

In Lap Vo - Vam Cong (Dong Thap), rice supplies are low, warehouses are buying steadily, and there is a consistent supply of sticky rice. In An Cu (Cai Be), supplies remained stable yesterday. Warehouses are buying quite well, and prices are relatively stable. In An Giang, rice supplies are low, warehouses are buying more slowly, and factories are offering stable prices. In Thot Not (Can Tho), transactions are slow, purchasing power is low, and factories are offering many low prices to potential buyers…

At retail markets, rice prices remained stable. Accordingly, the price of regular rice fluctuated around 14,000 - 15,000 VND/kg; Jasmine rice 17,000 - 18,000 VND/kg; Nang Nhen rice 26,000 VND/kg; long-grain Thai fragrant rice 19,000 - 20,000 VND/kg; Huong Lai rice 21,000 VND/kg; and Taiwanese fragrant rice 20,000 VND/kg.

On the export market, Vietnam's rice export prices remained stable today. According to the Vietnam Food Association, standard 5% broken rice is currently at 578 USD/ton; 25% broken rice is at 549 USD/ton; and 100% broken rice remains stable at 480 USD/ton.
