In Tran Phan commune, after screening, 35 households were supported with more than 2 billion VND to remove temporary and dilapidated houses, including 32 newly built houses and 3 repaired houses. Up to now, the commune has completed the construction of 29 houses, the remaining 6 houses have been completed at over 80%, the locality is determined to complete them by April 30 this year.

Mr. Nguyen Tien Truoc, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tran Phan Commune, said: “The commune regularly cares for and helps those eligible for support under the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses. For the elderly and single households, the locality creates conditions to help with working days. In addition, the commune regularly cares for and checks the progress as well as the quality, ensuring that the project meets the requirements and plans set out.”

In Ta An Khuong Nam commune, to complete the construction of 18 new houses and repair 2 houses for people before April 30, 2025, the commune mobilized forces and encouraged construction material sales establishments to join hands to support and speed up the progress.

To complete the plan to eliminate 698 temporary and dilapidated houses on schedule, in addition to properly implementing the procedures according to the instructions, Dam Doi district also mobilized capital from the State budget, the Fund for the Poor, contributions from businesses, organizations and individuals; guided households to complete procedures to receive support and checked and supervised the construction progress so that the newly built and repaired houses ensure quality. Up to now, the district has started construction of 698 houses, completed 300 houses, the remaining progress reached over 90%.

Mr. Bui Cong Danh, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district, said: "During the implementation process, the Inspection Team of the Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses of the District has increased inspections, so that all houses can be accelerated, ensuring quality and time"./.
