On the afternoon of April 10, the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province held a regular press conference in the first quarter, providing outstanding information on the economic, cultural, social, security and order situation in the province.
According to information from the Provincial People's Committee, in 2025, Quang Ninh plans to organize 170 cultural, sports and tourism programs and events in the province, including 24 programs, events and activities to stimulate international, national and provincial tourism; 146 programs, events and activities to stimulate local tourism, contributing to the completion of the annual GRDP growth target of 14%.
In particular, many large international events will be held for the first time in Quang Ninh from April to September 2025 such as: Miss Vietnam Global Sea Contest 2025; Quang Ninh Super Fest Music Event EDM International Music Festival; International Hot Air Balloon Festival; International Circus Festival; International Puppetry Festival; 20 activities of the Art For Climate Fesvital Ha Long 2025 Program (Art for Climate); "Skywave" Art Program (Skywave Ha Long); Sculpture Creation Camp "Quang Ninh - Convergence of quintessence, reaching for a new era of development"; Hot air balloon and paragliding performance to admire Ha Long Bay; Ha Long National Culinary Festival 2025; Program to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Mining Region (April 25, 1955 - April 25, 2025) ...
This year, the program "Ha Long Carnival 2025 - Connecting Heritage, Pioneering Shining" is held from 8:10 p.m. on May 1 with many new features, being the highlight event of Ha Long Tourism Week.
For the first time, Ha Long Carnival is not only the pride of Quang Ninh but also becomes a place where intangible heritages from all three regions converge, honoring national identity on the background of world natural wonders, such as: Binh Lieu Then singing, Royal court music, Central Highlands gongs, the Upper Mountain Girl, amateur music...
Visitors will directly participate in the parade with 5 model cars, immerse themselves in the largest open stage in Quang Ninh, immerse themselves in vibrant DJ melodies and emotional performances.
Carnaval 2025 uses modern technology: mapping, laser, light show. The stage is built with rock models to show 3D mapping. The Carnaval 2025 grandstand is designed to be the largest ever with a total of 15,000 seats to serve the people and tourists.
