National Literature - Math Club Competition for Children 2024, an intellectual playground for students who love Literature - Math

Taking place over 3 days from June 8 to June 10, 2024 in Hue City, the 2024 National Literature - Math Club for Children competition has gathered 26 participating delegations including 440 excellent candidates divided into 25 primary school teams and 19 secondary school teams representing 17 provinces and cities across the country. The program is organized by the Institute for Research on Books and Educational Materials - Vietnam Education Publishing House and the main sponsor is Hong Ha Stationery Joint Stock Company.

The opening ceremony of the Literature - Math Club for Children competition was held at the Huong River Theater, Hue City.

The National Math Club for Children has been organized under the direction of the Ministry of Education and Training since 2005 to encourage students to strive to study, improve their knowledge, and develop their own abilities. This is also an opportunity for students nationwide to exchange, learn and experience; to test themselves in the fields of Vietnamese, Literature, Math, English and to improve their teamwork skills and team spirit.

The new point of this year's program is the addition of Vietnamese for primary school students and Literature for secondary school students. At the event, all contestants must participate in two individual and team competitions at both primary and secondary school levels. The Math team competition has an English test. The competition will take place on June 9, 2024 at Nguyen Tri Phuong Secondary School, Hue City.

The Organizing Committee awarded the Gold Cup to the 6 winning teams.

In the final results, the Organizing Committee and Sponsor Hong Ha Stationery Joint Stock Company awarded 49 gold medals, 93 silver medals, 143 bronze medals in the individual competition. In the team competition, 6 gold cups, 8 silver cups, 10 bronze cups were awarded. The Team Gold Cup Award went to

• Primary level: Hanoi A, Hanoi C and Nghe An A teams.
• Secondary School Level: Hanoi A, Nghe An A and Thai Binh B Teams.

The organizers also awarded prizes to the 4 contestants with the highest scores, namely:

• Candidate Duong Nguyen, Hanoi B group, 100 points (Primary school math)
• Candidate Le Phuc Lam, Tuyen Quang delegation, 87.75 points (Primary Vietnamese)
• Candidate Dang Hoang Lam, Hanoi A group – 95 points (Middle school Math)
• Candidate Phi Thuy Linh, Lao Cai A group, 96 points (Middle school Literature)
