Soobin Hoang Son's father is People's Artist Huynh Tu. The male singer was taught everything about music, playing instruments, how to harmonize, folk music... by his father.

Soobin studied piano, then switched to pursuing R&B and hip hop music. Thanks to his participation in The Remix 2016, he became famous for his ballad songs.

In the past, Soobin Hoang Son has publicly dated female stars several times.

In 2013, Emily and Soobin went public with their relationship. Fans called it a “sister-brother relationship” because Soobin is 3 years younger than Emily.
