(CLO) On October 18, at the Bac Giang Provincial Convention Center, Bac Giang Newspaper hosted a workshop with the theme "Party Newspaper promotes improvement of investment and business environment, promoting economic growth".


Attending the workshop were Mr. Nguyen Duc Loi, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Journalists Association; Ms. Lam Thi Huong Thanh, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice President of the Provincial People's Council... nearly 400 delegates who are leaders and reporters of 26 Party press agencies in the Northern region; leaders and former leaders of a number of press agencies in the Central region, Central and Southern provinces.

The workshop took place with the theme "Party Newspaper promotes improvement of investment and business environment, promoting economic growth".

Speaking at the workshop, Mr. Trinh Van Anh, Provincial Party Committee member, Editor-in-Chief of Bac Giang Newspaper, said that improving the investment and business environment is one of the key tasks of the entire political system; it is an important solution to mobilize resources, promote investment attraction, develop production and business, and promote socio-economic growth of the country and localities. In the implementation process, in addition to the participation of the entire political system, propaganda work plays a very important role.

However, objectively speaking, improving the business investment environment is a big task, involving many levels and many sectors; the implementation process still has difficulties and obstacles that need to be resolved. Among many reasons, there are reasons stemming from the content and form of communication on improving the business investment environment of press agencies in general, and local Party newspapers in particular, which are still limited, and the content and form are not yet rich and attractive.

Sharing at the workshop, Mr. Nguyen Minh Duc, Editor-in-Chief of Hanoi Moi Newspaper, said: Hanoi Moi is the main press unit in propagating major economic orientations, including expanding and tightening cooperation between the Capital and domestic and foreign partners; focusing on promoting the image and introducing the great potential of Hanoi in the eyes of international investors; creating attractiveness and boosting foreign investment capital.

Mr. Nguyen Minh Duc shared the experience of propagating to improve the investment and business environment of Hanoi Moi newspaper, which is to convey rich, diverse and easy-to-understand content to readers, whether they are civil servants, managers, businesses or citizens.

Recently, Hanoi Moi Newspaper has continued to increase the organization of seminars between businesses, experts, and management agencies to open a forum for the parties to exchange and interact. And more importantly, from the implementation practice, lessons can be drawn and solutions can be proposed to further promote an open business environment, attracting investment resources for the city's development.

According to Mr. Bui Ngoc Quang, Editor-in-Chief of Ninh Binh Newspaper: Currently, Ninh Binh Newspaper always focuses on investing in building high-quality specialized pages and columns to promote the fields of tourism, heritage and culture. Among them, the English version of the electronic newspaper regularly publishes news and articles about the heritage values ​​and scenic spots of the province, contributing to promoting the image and tourist destinations.

Editor-in-Chief of Ninh Binh Newspaper shared: To do a good job of propaganda to improve the investment environment, press agencies in general and the local Party newspaper system in particular need to continue to promote digital transformation activities, improve the quality of press works in the direction of multimedia and multi-platform works.

Continue to organize training activities, professional exchanges, and learning experiences between units to enhance connectivity, continuously improve the quality of Party newspapers, and contribute to the development of the locality and the country.

At the workshop, Mr. Nguyen The Lam, Director-Editor-in-Chief of Quang Ninh Provincial Media Center affirmed: the press needs to regularly accompany major tasks (before, during and after); organize large-scale media campaigns; mobilize all media platforms (traditional forms, new media). In particular, cadres and reporters must truly understand deeply and grasp the policies and development orientations of the province...

Focus on building communication programs to accompany businesses; create breakthroughs in social security. Typical examples include promoting the introduction of electricity to Co To Island (budget, people's contributions); Promoting the program of one OCOP product per commune and ward, creating livelihoods for people and businesses.

During the morning session, the presentations at the workshop deeply analyzed and evaluated the role of the press in general, including local Party newspapers, in propagating the policies and viewpoints of the Party, State and local Party committees and authorities on improving the investment and business environment and promoting economic growth.

Speaking at the workshop, Mr. Nguyen Duc Loi, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Journalists Association, acknowledged and highly appreciated the results that local Party press agencies have achieved in the work of promoting investment attraction. He emphasized that the press nationwide always closely follows the reality of life, promptly reflects major events of the country; ensures the correct orientation of the Party and State; provides official and accurate information to help orient public opinion, creating trust among the people. Thereby, the team of journalists gradually matures in political capacity, professional ethics and improves professional qualifications and skills.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Loi assessed: In recent times, the domestic and international economic situation has had many complex fluctuations, but Vietnam's investment attraction has still achieved positive results. In particular, attracting foreign investment has had great achievements, making foreign investment an important part of the economy, contributing positively to the country's socio-economic development.

Foreign investment in Vietnam, including in 25 northern provinces and cities, has grown rapidly in terms of quantity, capital scale and project quality; contributing to job creation, increasing income for workers; improving production capacity and skills; and increasing state budget revenue.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Loi affirmed: "To closely follow the spirit of the resolutions, not only Bac Giang Newspaper but also local Party newspapers in the Northern region have many creative and effective ways of promoting investment attraction, actively contributing to improving the investment environment and attracting businesses...".

At the conference, Mr. Trinh Van Anh, Editor-in-Chief of Bac Giang Newspaper, handed over the rotating flag to host the 30th conference of Party newspapers of Northern provinces and cities in 2025 to Mr. Nguyen Minh Duc, Editor-in-Chief of Hanoi Moi Newspaper.
