Strengthening party organizations at the grassroots level

Although not far from the center of Muong Ang district, in previous years, the work of developing party members in Ang To commune encountered many difficulties, especially in the highland villages such as Huoi Hao, Tho Lo, and Pu Tiu. There are many reasons, but through the analysis and assessment of the commune Party Committee, the lack of sources for Party membership is considered a key issue. Identifying the root cause of the current situation, under the leadership and direction of the Muong Ang District Party Committee, Ang To commune Party Committee held a meeting to discuss and propose many fundamental solutions, in which the assignment of responsibilities to each comrade in the Party Executive Committee of the commune to be in charge of, helping and guiding the villages to promote propaganda, encourage and help the masses strive to join the Party is put on top priority.

Mr. Dao Xuan Hoa, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ang To commune, said: During the implementation process, the Party Committee of the commune directed comrades in the Executive Committee, associations and organizations to promote patriotic emulation movements, raise awareness, and inspire the will to strive in union members, association members and young people. Actively carrying out this task, the Youth Union has organized revolutionary action programs, such as: Youth volunteers, young people join hands to build new rural areas; support policy families, meritorious people, poor people to repair houses, sow and harvest rice; environmental sanitation; Responding to climate change... Farmers' Association responds to the movement "Farmers compete in good production and business, helping each other develop the economy"... These practical activities are the environment and conditions for union members to strive and affirm, and are an important basis for considering, training, and admitting to the Party.

With a proactive spirit and high determination, from 2022 to present, Ang To Commune Party Committee has admitted nearly 30 new party members and established a new Huoi Hao village Party Cell.

With many flexible solutions, especially when patriotic emulation movements are promoted and transformed into specific actions and tasks, in recent years, the Party Committee of Muong Ang district has always achieved and exceeded the targets for admitting new party members. Since the beginning of the 2020-2025 term, the whole district has admitted nearly 600 new party members; of which, 458 are ethnic minority party members (76 are Mong ethnic party members), 11 are religious party members.

In order to further enhance the Party's leadership capacity, along with the work of developing Party members, in recent times, the Party Committee of Muong Ang district has constantly innovated its leadership methods, in which special attention has been paid to promoting the role and responsibility of the leader, the pioneering and exemplary nature of each cadre and Party member. Mr. Kieu Xuan Hoang, Secretary of the Party Committee of Xuan Lao commune, said: The majority of the population is ethnic minorities, and the lives of the people are still facing many difficulties. Therefore, the promotion of the pioneering and exemplary role of cadres and Party members, especially the village Party cell secretaries, has received special attention from the commune. Recently, implementing the program of building solidarity houses for poor households towards the 70th Anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory, the team of Party cell secretaries has promoted the core role at the grassroots level, not only propagating and mobilizing people about the significance of the program but also directly participating in contributing working days so that the program can be implemented quickly, thereby creating absolute trust of the people in the Party and State.

Under the leadership of the Standing Committee of Muong Ang District Party Committee, Party committees and Party organizations in the district have well implemented Resolution No. 22 of the Central Executive Committee (10th tenure) on "Improving the leadership capacity, fighting strength of grassroots Party organizations and the quality of cadres and Party members". The district has synchronously implemented solutions in Party building work, especially further promoting the role of political core at the grassroots level, leading the people to successfully carry out political tasks in the locality. Along with that, Muong Ang regularly pays attention to the work of educating and training cadres and Party members. Through many activities and solutions, they help them have a firm stance and ideology, steadfast in the Party's ideal goals, actively strive to improve in studying and training, and successfully complete assigned tasks; consciously comply with and preserve moral qualities and lifestyle, properly implement the Party Charter and what Party members are not allowed to do, thereby contributing to improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of Party organizations and Party members at the grassroots level.
