The program took place over 2 days, April 24 and 25, focusing on 4 topics: Socio-economic situation of ethnic minority areas and the National Target Program for Socio-economic Development of Ethnic Minority Areas in the province; work to protect the Party's ideological foundation, fight against and handle bad and toxic information on cyberspace; some new regulations on the Land Law; regulations on land support policies for ethnic minorities living in the province; the role and responsibility of prestigious people and the skills to propagate and mobilize the masses to implement the Party's policies and the State's policies and laws.

According to the leaders of the provincial Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions, the conference is held annually to provide and equip prestigious people among ethnic minorities with more information and knowledge about the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws. From there, it will further strengthen and promote the role and responsibility of prestigious people in propagating and mobilizing the people and ethnic minorities to promote and preserve the fine traditional cultural values ​​of the nation, contributing to the socio-economic development of ethnic minority and mountainous areas of the province.
