In 2023, Dak Lak Market Management Department has strengthened inspection and supervision work and promptly handled violations of the law in production and business activities, contributing to ensuring market stability.
Specifically, units under the Dak Lak Market Management Department inspected 1,034 cases, handled 720 cases, with 887 violations (an increase of 146 violations compared to 2022).
The total amount collected through processing is more than 6 billion VND. Of which, administrative fines are more than 5.4 billion VND; the amount collected from the sale of goods that are evidence of administrative violations that were confiscated is more than 583 million VND; the amount collected for the return of illegal profits obtained from administrative violations is more than 17 million VND; the amount collected due to the delay in implementing the decision to impose administrative fines is more than 19 million VND.

During the year, the situation of smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods in the province remained complicated. The main violations detected and handled were: displaying and selling counterfeit goods; trading in goods of unknown origin; trading in smuggled cigarettes; not posting prices of goods; violations in setting up e-commerce websites, business registration, business conditions, etc.
Thanks to good management, inspection and handling of violations, the market situation in the province is relatively stable, without hoarding, shortages or sudden price increases. The supply of essential goods such as food, rice, gasoline, liquefied petroleum gas, medical supplies , fertilizers, pesticides, etc. is always guaranteed, fully meeting the production and consumption needs of the people.
