The first 400-hectare eco-industrial park appears at the western gateway of Ho Chi Minh City

When the eco-industrial model was just at its "dawn", Prodezi and HVH led the trend with the official milestone of launching the first eco-industrial park in Long An and the largest in the Mekong Delta.

Along with this industrial park is the 100-hectare LA Home eco-urban area, which resonates and connects to establish a sustainable green value chain.

Officially introducing Prodezi ecological industrial park to the market

On the morning of October 1, 2024 in Long An, investor Prodezi and developer Huong Viet (HVH) held an event to launch Prodezi Ecological Industrial Park (Prodezi EIP).

Prodezi EIP owns a strategic location at the intersection between the existing provincial road 830 and Luong Hoa - Binh Chanh avenue (60m wide), taking only 5 minutes to connect to Ho Chi Minh City. This is a part of the My Quy Tay - Luong Hoa - Binh Chanh axis, one of the 6 key dynamic axes of Long An, directly implemented by Prodezi.

When completed by the end of 2025, this avenue will not only significantly shorten the travel time from Ben Luc to the center of Ho Chi Minh City, but also conveniently connect with important national traffic routes such as Ring Road 3 and Ring Road 4, creating conditions for businesses at Prodezi EIP to easily access the system of important airports and seaports.

At the same time, the gateway position directly connecting Ho Chi Minh City with the entire Mekong Delta region creates a superior advantage in attracting human resources. From here, Prodezi EIP not only conveniently accesses high-quality labor resources from Ho Chi Minh City, but also fully exploits the abundant labor force from the Western provinces. This is an important foundation to help businesses at Prodezi EIP optimize human resources, minimize costs, operate stably and improve productivity.

Sharing at the event, Mr. Karl Truong, CEO of HVH said that Prodezi EIP was born from a vision and long-term commitment to sustainable industrial development in Vietnam.

“We understand that development cannot be separated from sustainability. Therefore, Prodezi EIP is not just an industrial park, but also an ecosystem where businesses can develop sustainably, in harmony with nature and the surrounding community,” Mr. Karl Truong shared.

Prodezi EIP is committed to being a leader in sustainable practice and development through four pillars: using renewable energy – reusing and recycling water – developing green buildings, green certified warehouses – developing organic farms. With a scale of up to 400 hectares and an investment capital of VND 4,600 billion, this is the first ecological industrial park in Long An and the largest in the Mekong Delta.

Leading the global trend

In the context of the global push to green the economy and reduce emissions, “green” standards and certificates become a passport, opening the door for investors with strategic vision, wanting to reach out to developed markets. Eco-industrial parks will create a harmonious benefit model: superior economy but still ensuring beautiful landscape, enriching the value of life.

In Vietnam, a country that considers industry as a pillar of development, the transition to an eco-industrial park model has become an inevitable trend, actively encouraged by the Government towards the goal of Net Zero (net zero emissions). The standards for eco-industrial parks have been specified in Decree 35/2022/ND-CP.

Although achieving this standard requires time and high initial costs, in return it is a great opportunity to attract foreign investment, take advantage of tax and fee incentives from the Government and move towards sustainable development. However, to date, Vietnam still has no industrial parks that have officially met ecological standards, most of which are only in the process of conversion.

With a plan to start construction at the end of November 2024 and handover in the second quarter of 2025, Prodezi EIP has a great advantage when investing to fully meet ecological criteria right from the initial planning stage, ensuring compliance with the current Decree. Moreover, the investor is proactively establishing strategic cooperative relationships with leading international partners, in order to apply the most advanced green standards from Europe and the US, ready to take the lead in global trends.

Industrial - urban ecological model: Parallel development sustainable

The investor’s sustainable development commitments are also realized through pioneering the development of parallel industrial-urban ecological models. Along with Prodezi EIP, the 100ha LA Home ecological urban area is also being implemented simultaneously, creating double resonance value. These two components are located symmetrically, closely connected via Luong Hoa – Binh Chanh Avenue, creating a comprehensive ecosystem, bringing synchronization and harmony between living and working spaces.

If Prodezi EIP meets all industrial ecological standards, LA Home is a testament to the urban ecological living standard. With a construction density of only 30%, LA Home's living space is elevated thanks to the art of sophisticated planning, in harmony with nature. Impressive figures such as the 2.2ha central park, 7 original green canals, and a green tree and water system of up to 8ha, create a balanced living space.

The utility system at LA Home brings a high-class living experience. From inter-level schools, medical centers, flea markets to modern utilities such as: bustling commercial avenues, shopping centers, clubhouses... In particular, the 1ha multi-purpose sports center has just been put into operation, ready to serve residents, locals and workers at Prodezi EIP.

Pioneering model, international standard infrastructure, full facilities and potential from prime location and tax incentives, competitive rental prices, Prodezi EIP brings abundant land fund adjacent to Ho Chi Minh City, along with professional management services. "With active support from the locality, we are ready to welcome strategic investors with long-term vision, especially in the field of high technology and environmental friendliness, to make Long An a reliable bright spot on the green industry map of Vietnam" affirmed the representative of Prodezi.
