Voters of Tan Thang and Thang Hai communes: Proposing issues related to infrastructure investment

BTO-On the afternoon of May 7, at the People's Committee of Thang Hai commune, Ms. Pham Thi Hong Yen - Standing member of the Economic Committee of the National Assembly, National Assembly Delegate (NAD) of Binh Thuan province had a meeting with voters before the 7th session of the 15th National Assembly with voters of Thang Hai commune and Tan Thang commune, Ham Tan district. Also attending the meeting were representatives of local government leaders and relevant departments, branches and sectors.

At the meeting, the National Assembly deputies informed the voters of the two communes about the expected content and program of the 7th session of the 15th National Assembly. They emphasized that the 7th session of the 15th National Assembly will open on May 20 and is expected to close on June 28. At this session, the National Assembly will consider 24 contents related to legislative work; 16 contents related to socio-economics, state budget, supervision and other important issues.

Speaking at the meeting, voters from the two communes said that in recent times, power and water outages have occurred continuously and for a long time, which has significantly affected people's lives and activities. In addition, on Highway 55, many drainage holes were dug up but had no covers, causing unsafe conditions for people participating in traffic.

The irrigation water source of Ha Lang villagers is exhausted, saltwater intrusion has made crops unable to survive, so voters want fresh water for agricultural production and solutions to support people in agricultural product output. On the other hand, they are interested in the regime and policies for non-professional officials in the locality.

Voters from the two communes also expressed their opinions that Road No. 15 of Co Kieu village is the main road leading to the production area of ​​Tan Thang commune. It is now seriously degraded and needs to be upgraded to facilitate travel and transportation of agricultural products.

Regarding the issues raised by voters, especially those related to infrastructure investment such as rural roads, electricity, and domestic water, representatives of functional units and localities directly explained and answered within their authority so that voters could understand. On the other hand, they will continue to coordinate with functional sectors to resolve and answer voters in the coming time.

National Assembly Deputy Pham Thi Hong Yen acknowledged and said that she would bring the voters' opinions to the competent authorities, hoping to continue to improve policies to meet the voters' aspirations. The National Assembly Deputy also hoped that the production and business activities of the people would develop more and more, achieve the expected goals and the people's concerns would be satisfactorily resolved.
