At the meeting, National Assembly Deputy Ho Thi Minh reported on the expected agenda of the 9th session of the 15th National Assembly. This is a session that will last longer than usual, with a lot of work, especially the National Assembly will spend a lot of time developing laws and deciding on many important issues of the country, including amending the Constitution and other legal documents to implement the policy of streamlining the state apparatus.

Many voters highly appreciated the content of the meeting, and expressed excitement and support for the policy of streamlining the apparatus.

Voters believe that the arrangement and streamlining of the state apparatus is a revolution aimed at reducing the number of focal points, improving the effectiveness of state management and serving the people and businesses in the new era. In particular, the arrangement and streamlining of the apparatus will contribute to streamlining the payroll, saving the budget to focus on investing in society and serving the welfare of the people.

Therefore, after the merger, we hope that the National Assembly will have solutions to attract talent, select people with sufficient moral qualities, capacity, qualifications, and dedication to participate in the state apparatus, especially the new commune-level government, to serve the people better and better.

In addition, we hope that the National Assembly will have a mechanism to increase the level of support for the team of part-time officials at the commune level so that they can rest assured when retiring and changing careers. At the same time, there will be an open mechanism in applying Decree 178 to help many officials, civil servants and public employees who are eligible to retire early or quit their jobs, creating conditions for young, highly qualified officials to have the opportunity to work and contribute. We hope that the National Assembly will develop regulations to simplify land procedures to facilitate support for people and businesses.

Regarding local issues, voters hope that authorities at all levels will create conditions for people in Ha Thuong quarter to exploit the full potential of land advantages and avoid waste. At the same time, speed up the implementation of traffic projects in the area; speed up the site clearance for important traffic works through Gio Linh district. Pay attention to resolving land disputes among the people.

In her explanation, National Assembly member Ho Thi Minh expressed her excitement at the voters’ interest in the process of restructuring and streamlining the apparatus. At the same time, she acknowledged the voters’ recommendations to continue researching and synthesizing them for submission to competent authorities for consideration and handling.

Regarding the recommendations related to the locality, the leaders of Gio Linh District and Gio Linh Town People's Committee have received and explained them, and will soon handle the recommendations as desired by voters.
