Voters of Nhu Xuan district propose attention to creating jobs for local workers

On the afternoon of November 4, at Thanh Lam commune, the provincial People's Council delegates: Tran Manh Long, Chief of Office of the National Assembly Delegation and Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Ngoc Tuy, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, had a meeting with voters of Thanh Lam, Thanh Phong, Thanh Hoa communes, and Nhu Xuan district.

Voters of Thanh Lam, Thanh Phong and Thanh Hoa communes highly appreciated the results that Thanh Hoa province has achieved since the beginning of the year. At the same time, they proposed and recommended that the provincial People's Council delegates reflect to the authorities to resolve a number of issues such as: having mechanisms and policies to invest in and build a garment or leather shoe factory in Thanh 6 area to create stable jobs and increase income for local workers; considering allocating funds to organize cadastral surveying for forestry land for Thanh Lam commune in particular and communes in Nhu Xuan district in general to facilitate people in registering and granting land use right certificates according to the provisions of law.

Voters requested the Provincial People's Committee to survey and invest in raising the section of the Song Chang bridgehead at Sub-camp C4 of Thanh Lam Prison on route 520B, which is often deeply flooded during the rainy season, making it difficult for people to travel. They requested the province to have a mechanism to grant land use rights to households living on the edge of forestry land (land 02) and agricultural land from 2014 onwards. Currently, some poor households do not have land use rights to build "Dai Doan Ket" houses or land granted to people to stabilize their lives.
