Ha Giang voters agree on the policy of rearranging administrative units at provincial and communal levels.

The content of collecting voters' opinions on the policy of arranging administrative units at provincial and commune levels was carried out from April 17 to April 19 in the form of distributing ballots to collect voters' opinions representing households in 193 communes, wards and towns across the province.

As a result of the policy of rearranging administrative units of Ha Giang and Tuyen Quang provinces, the total number of voters representing households participating in giving opinions was 179,130 ​​people, of which 169,950 voted in favor, reaching 94.88%.

Regarding the policy of arranging commune-level administrative units in Ha Giang province, the total number of voters representing households participating in giving opinions was 168,472 people, with 160,049 votes in favor, reaching a rate of 95%.

According to the report, through the consultation, there were also many opinions from voters on the arrangement of administrative units such as: The merger of the two provinces of Ha Giang and Tuyen Quang needs to place the new provincial administrative center at the center of the two provinces for the convenience of officials and people in traveling; many voters have opinions on keeping the old commune name, adjusting the location of the commune center or merging with the central commune clusters of the district.

Based on the results of public consultation, Ha Giang province will continue to complete the project, submit it to competent authorities for approval and implement the next steps to ensure progress, quality, and create stability and consensus among the people.
