Mr. Nguyen Van Quynh, Thanh Phac village, Dong Tien commune (Hiep Hoa):
Support People to resolve administrative procedures after merger
Initially, when hearing about the merger of administrative units, I and many people had concerns. However, when being informed and disseminated with the leadership and direction documents of the superiors, especially the project on merging administrative units at the provincial and communal levels, not organizing administrative units at the district level, I understood more fully the Party's policy on this issue. The rearrangement of administrative units, especially at the communal level, is in line with the wishes and aspirations of the majority of people.
There is a problem that after the merger, there will be a lot of information and administrative procedures that may need to be updated and changed according to the new administrative unit. From that reality, I personally hope that the levels, sectors and localities will soon have specific and detailed instructions, regularly pay attention to supporting people and businesses in solving problems, avoiding troubles and helping people reduce costs and travel time.
We hope that the Provincial People's Committee will direct all levels and sectors to quickly deploy the work, ensuring that after the district-level government stops operating from July 1, 2025, the new apparatus must immediately start operating, ensuring smooth operation as before, creating favorable conditions for people when coming to contact to resolve work.
Ms. Trieu Thi Mui, Dao ethnic group, Tuan Son village, Tuan Dao commune (Son Dong):
Prioritize investment resources in ethnic minority areas
In recent years, with the attention of the Party and the State, the ethnic minority areas in my hometown have changed a lot, people have jobs, more income, and their lives have improved compared to before. However, in the area, there are still many areas far from the center, the terrain has many high mountains, deep streams, and travel is very difficult.
I hope that after the reorganization of provincial and communal administrative units, ethnic minority areas will have more resources to invest in developing transport infrastructure, hospitals, cultural houses and other convenient services. In particular, the people of my hometown hope that the Party Committee and authorities at all levels will continue to pay attention to their lives, and pay attention to preserving and maintaining the culture and traditional customs of the ethnic minorities in conjunction with tourism development.
With that wish, at exactly 7:00 a.m. on April 20, I was present at the village cultural house to vote, expressing my agreement with the policy of merging provincial and commune-level administrative units.
Mr. Nguyen Van Quynh, Secretary of the Party Cell of Phu My 1 Residential Group, Dinh Ke Ward (Bac Giang City):
Pay attention to selecting staff to meet the requirements of new tasks.
As a Party member and Secretary of the residential group Party cell, I quickly grasped the Party and State's policies on administrative unit arrangement. The Phu My 1 residential group Party cell organized a thematic meeting on the content of streamlining and merging commune-level administrative units.
Through understanding, 100% of the Party cell members agreed with the policy and clearly realized that this was a historic task, helping to build the country increasingly rich and strong, the people increasingly prosperous and happy. Especially, for the elderly like us, who lived in the old Ha Bac province, the merger of Bac Ninh and Bac Giang provinces is reasonable.
However, not organizing district-level government from July 1 is a new, difficult and unprecedented task, so I am personally very concerned. I hope that after the reorganization, when the new units come into operation, they will clearly assign people, tasks, and responsibilities, and arrange commune-level cadres in a direction suitable to local characteristics. When wards and communes are merged into new administrative units with large areas and populations, they need to be invested in infrastructure with connectivity to create development momentum.
I also hope that leaders at all levels will make comprehensive, thorough, truly impartial and objective assessments, thereby selecting a team of cadres at all levels who meet all the conditions, standards, good professional qualifications, virtue and talent to meet the requirements and tasks in the new situation.
