For every 10 candidates in Bac Ninh, 1 student gets a score of 9.5 in literature for the 2024 graduation exam.

The score of 9.75 accounts for 1/3 of the whole country.

Bac Ninh is a locality that surprised everyone with the results of the 2024 high school graduation exam when it continuously led many rankings, especially in groups with literature subjects.

According to Dan Tri newspaper's analysis of exam score data released by the Ministry of Education and Training, Bac Ninh has a very high score of 9.5 or higher in literature.

Of the 17,493 candidates in this province who scored in literature, 606 candidates scored 9.75 points and 1,284 candidates scored 9.5 points.

Thus, the number of candidates scoring 9.5 points or more accounts for 10.8%. That is, for every 10 candidates, at least 1 will score 9.5 points or more.

Nationwide, there are 1,807 candidates who achieved a score of 9.75 in literature, of which Bac Ninh currently accounts for 1/3 (about 33.5%).

If we calculate the literature score from 9 and above, the whole Bac Ninh province has 4,532/17,493 candidates achieving this score, accounting for 25.9%. In other words, for every 4 candidates in Bac Ninh taking the literature exam, more than 1 candidate will achieve 9 points.

13 top students in block C00

According to statistics, Bac Ninh is the province with 13/19 top students in group C00 (literature, history, geography). This locality has the "upper hand" with 50 out of 121 candidates achieving the highest score in group C00.

The same thing happened with block D01 (math, literature, English) when Bac Ninh led with 26/114 candidates achieving the highest scores in the country.

Literature is the only subject among all the exams that requires candidates to write the test in essay form. The essay examiners will be teachers in the province.

Among the provinces with many candidates achieving literature scores of 9.5 or higher, there are many names such as: Tra Vinh, Phu Tho, Ninh Binh, Nam Dinh...

According to statistics from the Ministry of Education and Training, in the 2024 high school graduation exam, 1,050,132 candidates took the literature exam. The average score of this subject for candidates nationwide was 7.23. The median score was 7.5.

The number of candidates with a score of 1 or less is 68 (accounting for 0.006%), of which 29 students received a score of 0. This number in 2023 is 92 students with a failing score, of which 24 students received a score of 0.

The number of candidates with scores below 5 is 53,207, about 20,000 less than in 2023 (73,622).

The highest score a candidate achieved was 8.0 points. And this year, 2 candidates achieved 10 points in literature (in 2023, this number was 1).
