Traffic police recommend people to proactively look up 'offline fines' to avoid overload and waiting.

According to information from the Traffic Police Department, the number of people coming directly to traffic violation handling units to look up and pay fines is currently increasing sharply, leading to overload at some locations, causing difficulties for both people and authorities.

To facilitate the people, the Traffic Police Department recommends that people proactively look up information about violations on the Department's official website at: https://www.csgt.vn/tra-cuu-phuong-tien-vi-pham.html. Thereby, people can check whether their vehicle is in violation or not before deciding to go through the handling procedure.

The Traffic Police Department also noted that if a violation is detected, people should go to the Violation Handling Headquarters of the unit under the Traffic Police Department where they have registered their permanent residence for support in handling the violation. People should not move to the place where the violation was detected if it is in another locality, to avoid putting more pressure on the local unit and save time and travel costs.

For cases requiring support, people can send detailed information about the violation, the place where the violation was detected, contact address and phone number to the email address of the Road and Railway Traffic Patrol and Control Guidance Department under the Traffic Police Department at the address: [email protected].

The Traffic Police Department said that up to now, the mailbox has received more than 800 complaints from the people. All complaints with complete information are received and resolved quickly by the authorities, creating the most favorable conditions for the people.

The Traffic Police Department's website has recorded more than 124 million visits, many of which were from people who proactively looked up violations in advance to shorten processing time when necessary.
