On October 19, the Hanoi Traffic Police Department said that the functional unit handled the truck driver who entered the prohibited road on Thai Ha overpass.
Through inspection, Road Traffic Police Team No. 3 determined that the violating truck was a car with a Hanoi license plate, the car had the words "Vietnam Post " printed on it. The driver was Mr. NĐ. (born in 1979, from Chuong My, Hanoi). Working with the police, Mr. D. admitted to the violation.
The truck driver went onto the Thai Ha overpass and got stuck.
Traffic police team No. 3 has drawn up an administrative violation report against Mr. NĐ for driving on a road with a prohibited sign.
For this violation, the male driver was fined 2-3 million VND and had his driving license revoked for 1-3 months. In addition, the violator must be responsible for repairing the damage caused by the violation.
Previously, social media posted a clip of a truck going up the Thai Ha - Chua Boc overpass during rush hour. After that, the truck swerved in the opposite direction, got stuck in the height limit bar, causing traffic jam.
Lieutenant Colonel Dang Hong Giang, Captain of Traffic Police Team No. 3, said that people proactively detecting and recording traffic violations contributes to raising people's awareness of law compliance.
This also overcomes the situation of traffic participants violating the provisions of the law.
