On the morning of November 28, traffic police handled a number of violations, mainly occurring in the early morning and during lunch breaks. Most of the violators were freelance workers, hired to transport goods from Long Bien wholesale market to branch markets.

Case of Mr. NVH (born in 1976, in Hanoi) - driving a motorbike with license plate number: 29D1-995.xx carrying many cardboard boxes on Tran Nhat Duat street. When encountering the police for administrative inspection, Mr. H. encountered many difficulties in stopping the vehicle to work.

Traffic police checked Mr. H's car.

At this time, Mr. H. had to ask someone to help push the cart onto the sidewalk to work, because the goods he was carrying were too heavy. Working with the police, Mr. H. said that he was transporting goods for hire. Upon inspection, the working group recorded that Mr. H.'s vehicle was carrying bulky goods, violating traffic safety laws.

Continuing to stop Mr. THD's car (born in 1989, in Hung Yen) traveling on the road with many boxes of fruit, the working group, in addition to handling the violation, asked Mr. D. to unload some of the goods and carry them in multiple trips.

However, when they learned that Mr. D. intended to transport the above goods to Hung Yen province, the working group firmly requested that he stop his dangerous behavior.

According to the Traffic Police Department of Hanoi City Police, currently, those transporting bulky goods will be fined for administrative violations of "Stacking goods on the vehicle exceeding the prescribed limit" with a fine of 500,000 VND.

Captain Nguyen Hoang Ninh, Captain of Traffic Police Team No. 1 (Hanoi Traffic Police Department) said that because Hoan Kiem district is near Long Bien wholesale market, most people often carry bulky goods on the road.

Many violations were handled by the police.

Since the beginning of 2023, Traffic Police Team No. 1 has penalized 104 cases of transporting bulky goods, with a fine of more than 48 million VND, and detained 95 vehicles.

In the coming time, to end the above situation, not only the traffic police but also the authorities need to thoroughly handle the problem of motorbikes and rudimentary vehicles carrying bulky goods circulating on the streets of Hanoi.

To do this, the city needs to direct and assign wards and districts to directly handle violations.
