On the evening of December 30, Al Nassr traveled to Al Taawon's field with the goal of winning all 3 points. However, Ronaldo and his teammates did not have a smooth start as their opponents entered the match with determination.
Al Nassr was soon penalized in the 11th minute. Although El Mahdioui could not beat goalkeeper Nawaf on the 11m mark, he still managed to successfully kick the rebound to help Al Taawon open the score 1-0.
Conceding an early goal, Al Nassr fought back strongly to find an equalizer. They ended the first half with the home team leading. Brozovic and Laporte scored for Al Nassr in the 26th and 35th minutes respectively to give Al Nassr a 2-1 lead after the first half.
In the second half, Al Nassr continued to make Al Taawon struggle. Otavio made his mark with a calm finish in the penalty area, raising the score to 3-1 for Al Nassr.
Al Taawon lost all spirit, but Al Nassr still played with determination. In the 90+2 minute, Ronaldo jumped and headed the ball dangerously, sealing a resounding 4-1 victory for Al Nassr.
This is Ronaldo's 54th goal in 2023. Previously, Ronaldo became the player with the most goals in the calendar year.

Behind Ronaldo are Harry Kane and Kylian Mbappe with 52 goals each, while Erling Haaland ended 2023 with 50 goals. Lionel Messi only has 28 goals in 44 matches, including 11 goals for Inter Miami.
