On the evening of June 20, President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin left Hanoi for home, successfully concluding his State visit to Vietnam at the invitation of General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam Nguyen Phu Trong. The visit took place in the context of the two countries celebrating the 30th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty on the basic principles of friendly relations between the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Russian Federation (June 16, 1994). President V. Putin's State visit to Vietnam is an important milestone in the foreign affairs program of our Party and State in 2024. The success of the visit continues to affirm the role, position and consolidate the peaceful, stable and favorable foreign affairs situation for the country's development.
