According to the leader of Long An Lottery Company Limited (Long An Lottery), in 2024, the company's lottery business activities will continue to be stable and maintain growth rate.
Specifically, in 2024, the issuance turnover was VND 6,450 billion, reaching 100% of the plan and equal to 102.06% over the same period. The sales turnover was over VND 6,447 billion, reaching 100.66% of the plan and equal to 102.12% over the same period. The sales to issuance ratio was 99.96%, up 0.07% over the same period. The issuance cost was over VND 1,098 billion, accounting for 17.03% of the sales turnover.
In particular, the cost of paying out prizes was over VND 3,156 billion, accounting for 48.96% of sales. This shows that the winning rate of people is very high, reflecting the motto "lottery - benefiting the country, benefiting the family" and the slogan "Long An lottery, bringing joy to every home".
The company's realized income was VND682 billion, reaching 110.08% of the plan and equal to 98.87% compared to the same period. Estimated tax payment to the budget was VND2,216 billion, reaching 118.02% of the plan assigned by the Ministry of Finance and the Provincial People's Committee, equal to 102.86% compared to the same period. In addition, the company also collected and paid personal income tax of agents and prize winners with the amount of more than VND211 billion.
In 2024, the company and Long An lottery agents spent more than 9 billion VND actively and enthusiastically on charity work, supporting, helping and caring for the poor, policy beneficiaries, and contributing to ensuring social security in and outside the province.
In addition, in 2024, Long An Lottery Company signed a contract with the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Long An province to support 4 billion VND to support the Fund for the Poor to achieve the goal of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in the province. This is one of the practical activities, continuing the success in supporting the construction of Great Unity houses as in the past, demonstrating social responsibility and commitment to accompany the locality in social security work.
According to the leaders of Long An Lottery Company, the above results are thanks to the increasingly consolidated and developed agent system, always cooperating and accompanying the company; the trust and confidence of the majority of customers buying Long An lottery tickets in the past time.
In 2025, Long An Lottery Company continues to strive and set out assigned plan targets such as: issuance revenue of 6,840 billion VND; sales revenue of over 6,836 billion VND; sales to issuance ratio of over 99.95%; payment to the state budget of over 2,150 billion VND; issuance costs used for the right purpose, right target to maximize profits.
Vice Chairman of Long An Provincial People's Committee Huynh Van Son acknowledged and commended the achievements of Long An Lottery Company in 2024. At the same time, he requested that in 2025, the Company's Board of Directors and employees continue to promote the achieved results; continue to research and propose measures to maintain and promote traditional markets with strong consumption.
The company also needs to continue to do a good job of customer care from agents at all levels to street lottery ticket sellers to create interest and attachment between the company and Long An lottery ticket buyers.
