Recently, the Ho Chi Minh City Social Insurance (SHI) announced a list of employers who have delayed social insurance payments for 3 months or more. Notably, Quyen Linh Artist Company Limited was also on the list, causing a stir among netizens.
Specifically, Artist Quyen Linh Limited Liability Company was 5 months late in paying social insurance with an amount of more than 2.1 billion VND.

In addition to Quyen Linh Artist Company Limited, many other businesses are also late in paying social insurance, with amounts ranging from several million to tens of billions of dong.

According to Clause 5, Article 39, Decree 12/2022/ND-CP, employers will be fined 5-10 million VND if they fail to provide accurate, complete, and timely information and documents related to the payment and enjoyment of compulsory social insurance and unemployment insurance as required by competent state agencies and social insurance agencies.
Employers who delay paying compulsory social insurance and unemployment insurance; do not pay at the prescribed level but do not evade payment; do not pay enough for the number of people eligible for compulsory social insurance and unemployment insurance but do not evade payment; misappropriate social insurance and unemployment insurance contributions of employees... will be fined from 12% to 15% of the total amount of compulsory social insurance and unemployment insurance at the time of making the administrative violation record, but not exceeding 75 million VND.
