Lak Forestry One Member Co., Ltd.: Forest fire prevention and fighting practice in 2025

Participating in the forest fire prevention and fighting (PCCCR) drill on the morning of April 16 were more than 50 people, including: the company's specialized forest protection force, contracted households, forest planting units, representatives of the Lak District Forest Protection Department, and local authorities of communes bordering the forest.

The hypothetical situations presented in the exercise were: fire spreading from cleared areas, fire beyond manual control and large fires requiring the mobilization of machinery and specialized equipment.

During the exercise, the firefighting teams skillfully performed the operations of creating firebreaks, using blowers, high-pressure pumps, shoulder-mounted water sprayers, etc. according to the assigned plan. Command, communication and coordination between forces took place urgently and smoothly.

The internship not only helps to gain experience in implementing PCCCR according to the "4 on-site" motto, but also raises the community's sense of responsibility in forest protection.

At the end of the exercise, the command board organized an assessment, drew lessons and finalized a plan to be ready to respond to actual forest fire situations in the 2025 dry season.
