Bac Giang Electricity Company: Applying Hotline electrical repair technology to cope with the hot season

In preparation for the peak season of electricity use, since March 2025, the Hotline Repair Team of Bac Giang Electricity Company has coordinated with the electricity companies of districts, towns and cities to review the power grid system, thoroughly handle poor contact points on the main and branch lines, and replace the degraded terminal system and equipment of the medium and low voltage power grid system.

Hotline repair team performs maintenance work on 22 kV line at Song Khe - Noi Hoang Industrial Park (Bac Giang city).

At the same time, a new standard insulating porcelain system was installed. New transformer stations were connected and put into operation on schedule according to the 2025 grid upgrade project.

Mr. Vu Khac Vinh, Head of the Hotline Repair Team, said that since the beginning of the year, the Team has carried out 160 Hotline repair sessions (an increase of about 10% compared to the same period in 2024). Each session mobilized about 8 workers to participate.

Hotline power repair technology allows maintenance and upgrading of live power lines while still ensuring continuous power supply to customers. The application of this repair technology is important when the demand for electricity is forecast to increase dramatically in the upcoming hot months. This solution demonstrates the commitment of Bac Giang Power Company to ensure stable, continuous power supply with the best quality to customers.
