On March 28, Green Future Trading and Service Joint Stock Company (GF) announced the signing of a contract with First Real Estate Joint Stock Company to lease 1,000 VinFast electric cars to deploy a green tourism model in Da Nang.

This is the new move of Green Future (a car rental and used car trading company founded by Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong) in Da Nang just three days after the company officially announced its launch in the Central market.

According to the contract announced by Green Future, leasing 1,000 VinFast electric cars to First Real in Da Nang aims to promote the green tourism model and expand the sustainable transportation ecosystem in the coastal city.

First Real will initially receive 300 VinFast cars. The remaining cars are expected to be delivered in 2025 to serve tourists.

The entire car rental operation will be handled by two member companies of this real estate company by collaborating with domestic and international travel agencies to expand the car rental network as well as add car delivery points.

According to Mr. Nguyen Duc Minh, Sales Director of Green Future, Da Nang is one of the key locations that this unit will exploit in 2025 thanks to development orientations that are suitable for the business model. Including the orientation of developing sustainable green tourism.

Previously, at the end of February, the People's Committee of Da Nang City and Vingroup Corporation signed a memorandum of understanding on promoting green transformation and sustainable development.

At this working session, Ms. Le Thi Thu Thuy, Vice President of Vingroup, said that in the field of transportation, in addition to promoting the increased use of electric vehicles, Vingroup and the People's Committee of Da Nang City will research and develop the Da Nang - Hue electric bus route to serve local people and tourists.

At the same time, the People's Committee of Da Nang City created favorable conditions to support Vingroup members to promote the deployment of electric taxis to reduce emissions, support planning, introduce locations for installing charging stations, etc.

Notably, the People's Committee of Da Nang City and Vingroup Corporation said they will cooperate to develop carbon credit projects from electric vehicles, electric vehicle charging stations and complete procedures for registering carbon credit projects on the international exchange.
