Long Thuy traditional fish sauce craft village was formed from the coastal community, where there is an abundant source of aquatic products for processing fish sauce. Continuing the traditional craft of our ancestors for many generations, after many years of maintenance and development, up to now the craft village has more than 50 large traditional fish sauce production facilities associated with brands such as: Ngan My A, Hai Phuoc, Hong Gia Phuc, Ba Pho .... with 8 fish sauce products recognized as 3-star OCOP. Currently, the fish sauce products of the craft village are sold by more than 300 agents and distributors throughout the provinces and cities across the country, with prices suitable for many customers with different income levels, ranging from 13,000 - 200,000 VND/liter.
According to the leader of the People's Committee of An Phu commune, the recognition of the traditional fish sauce craft village of Long Thuy is a driving force to bring the local traditional fish sauce products further, not only domestically but also to the international market. In the coming time, the craft village will further promote the scale, output and quality of fish sauce products to preserve and promote the cultural values of the traditional craft village, contributing to the Long Thuy village community tourism project being implemented in the commune.
