Practically celebrating the 95th anniversary of the founding of Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2024), Ninh Binh Trade Unions at all levels have been implementing many meaningful and practical activities, bringing benefits to union members and workers.
The Provincial Federation of Labor (FFL) has just organized a meeting to honor 95 exemplary grassroots union officials in 2024. This is one of the highlights in a series of activities to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the 78th anniversary of the founding of the Ninh Binh General Confederation of Labor. At the same time, it focuses on widely disseminating to union members, workers, civil servants, and the whole society about the glorious tradition of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the Vietnamese working class. Thereby contributing to consolidating and fostering the trust of union members, workers, civil servants, and laborers in the Trade Union organization. Coordinated to give many gifts and share with union members and workers in difficult circumstances. Launched and organized the "Union Dance" Contest in 2024, attracting a large number of union members from grassroots unions and higher-level unions to participate in order to improve the spiritual and cultural life, creating a healthy, useful and practical playground for union members, workers, civil servants, and laborers in the area.
Along with that, Trade Unions at all levels in the province have organized many creative and meaningful activities towards the interests of union members and workers.
On the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union, all levels of the Trade Union in Yen Khanh district have focused on implementing well the tasks according to the 2024 Working Theme of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the Provincial Party Committee and the District Party Committee. Activities to care for the lives of union members and workers have been effectively implemented. Propaganda work on the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws has been promoted.
In addition, actively launch patriotic emulation movements among workers, civil servants and laborers. In particular, a series of key activities organized by the District Labor Federation on this occasion include: Folk Dance Competition for cadres, union members, civil servants and laborers of Yen Khanh district in 2024, attracting 23 teams with 273 members from affiliated grassroots unions to participate; organize meetings and honor 7 typical enterprises for workers and commend and reward 22 cadres and union members with outstanding achievements in labor, production and union activities; establish 1 more grassroots union; support 1 union member with a serious illness with an amount of 58 million VND; support the construction of 1 "Union Shelter" house with an amount of over 55 million VND...
Considered one of the units with many practical programs on this occasion, the Provincial Industrial Parks Trade Union organized a meeting to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union; commended and rewarded 44 exemplary trade union officials and 5 collectives that performed well in the Workers' Month 2024; awarded 21 prizes to the winning authors in the Poetry and Literature Writing Contest on the topic of workers and trade unions; coordinated to organize a "Trade Union Meal" for 215 union members and workers at Yoosol Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Gian Khau Industrial Park), each meal worth 65,000 VND (an additional value of 45,000 VND/meal compared to the daily shift meal).
Comrade Dinh The Hung, Chairman of the Provincial Industrial Parks Trade Union, said: In addition to the core activities of the Provincial Industrial Parks Trade Union, most of the affiliated grassroots trade unions have specific and practical activities to achieve achievements in commemorating the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union.
Activities to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union also spread strongly to grassroots trade unions. Ms. Vu Thi Anh Hong, Chairwoman of the Trade Union of Chung Jye Ninh Binh Vietnam Shoe Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (Khanh Nhac Industrial Cluster, Yen Khanh District) said: To celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union and the 78th anniversary of the founding of the Ninh Binh Trade Union, the Company's Trade Union organized a folk dance and sports competition at the grassroots level, selecting 3 excellent teams to participate in the district-level competition. Proposing to the higher-level trade union to support the construction and repair of houses for 2 union members. Awarding over 1,600 children of union members with good achievements in the 2023-2024 school year with a total amount of nearly 90 million VND. Mobilizing all union members to donate to support 2 union members with serious illnesses with a total amount of nearly 120 million VND...
Comrade Tran Kim Long, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor, said: Right from the beginning of the year, in order to build a series of activities to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union, the Provincial Federation of Labor organized to collect opinions from key trade union officials, from which to build a plan on organizing commemorative activities to deploy to all levels of the Trade Union. In particular, the activities are required to be deployed extensively from the province to the grassroots, creating a strong impression and influence, bringing benefits to union members and workers. At the same time, there must be a focus, key points, creativity, efficiency, and suitability to the actual conditions of each industry, locality, and unit.
Through activities towards the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union, it not only has the meaning of widely propagating to union members, workers, civil servants, laborers and the whole society about the glorious tradition of the Vietnam Trade Union and the Vietnamese working class, but also contributes to creating unity in the organization, consensus of union members, workers, civil servants and laborers to effectively implement the Resolution of the 13th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union, the Resolution of the 16th Congress of the Ninh Binh Provincial Trade Union and the Resolution of the Congress of Trade Unions at all levels for the 2023 - 2028 term.
