Dung Quat Economic Zone Trade Union and provincial industrial parks held a meeting in the first quarter of 2025

On the afternoon of April 4, the Dung Quat Economic Zone Trade Union and Quang Ngai Industrial Parks (Zone Trade Union) held a meeting to review the first quarter of 2025 and deploy tasks for the second quarter of 2025. In the first quarter, the Trade Union organized many activities to care for the lives, represent and protect the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers such as: Organizing the program "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ung Deng", "Tet Union Market"; presenting 2,960 gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances, with a total amount of nearly 2 billion VND; presenting gifts from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the Provincial Federation of Labor to union members and workers, with a total amount of 572 million VND; 668 union members and workers benefited from the online "Tet Union Market" program organized by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, worth 500,000 VND/person.

In addition, the affiliated trade unions gave Tet gifts, rewards to employees, supported transportation for employees to go home for Tet and return to work, etc. with a total amount of over 33 billion VND. At the same time, the provincial Labor Federation considered the proposal to support funding to build 5 "Union Shelters" in 2025 for 5 union members with especially difficult housing circumstances.

In the first quarter, the Party Cell of the Trade Union of Dung Quat Economic Zone and Quang Ngai Industrial Parks admitted 4 outstanding people working at enterprises to the Communist Party of Vietnam. Two new trade unions were established and 2,043 new union members were admitted.

In the second quarter of 2025, the Dung Quat Economic Zone Trade Union and Quang Ngai Industrial Parks will promote propaganda and education activities, focusing on disseminating the Party's Resolutions and policies, and the State's laws and policies. Organize the "Conference to honor "good workers, creative workers" for the second time in 2025. Deploy activities on the occasion of "Workers' Month" and "Workers' Festival" in 2025.

Coordinate with the Provincial Federation of Labor to organize health check-ups, disseminate laws for union members and employees, and train them for vocational skills at enterprises. Review enterprises that do not have a union organization, disseminate, guide, and implement the work of developing union members and establishing grassroots unions.
