The small house of Senior Lieutenant Bui Ba Han and his wife, driver, Planning and Technical Department, Warehouse K79, Technical Department, Military Region 2 in Group 23, Him Lam Ward, Dien Bien Phu City (Dien Bien) on a day in mid-May warmly welcomed a group of guests, representatives of the K79 Warehouse Trade Union to visit and give gifts. Senior Lieutenant Nguyen Duc Thuan, Vice President of the K79 Warehouse Trade Union, kindly asked about the health of Bui Thi Thu Hang, daughter of Senior Lieutenant Bui Ba Han, who had just returned from a successful surgery at Hanoi Medical University Hospital, and at the same time presented a gift from the K79 Warehouse Trade Union to Hang. Ms. Tran Thi Phuong, wife of Senior Lieutenant Bui Ba Han, was moved to express: "Every time Hang returned from medical examination and treatment, the officers came to visit, give gifts, and encourage her. That feeling is truly precious. My husband and I can only say thank you."

Happy that Hang's health has gradually stabilized, Captain Nguyen Duc Thuan shared: Hang, the daughter of Senior Lieutenant Bui Ba Han, unfortunately suffered from acute pancreatitis and requires long-term monitoring, care, and treatment, while Ms. Phuong does not have a stable job. Understanding the difficulties that comrade Han's family is facing, the K79 Warehouse Union has recently visited, encouraged, and sent small gifts from the K79 Warehouse Union to the child, with the hope that Han's family will overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.

Senior Lieutenant Bui Ba Han is just one of many cases of families with difficult circumstances, currently working at units under Warehouse K79, for whom the Warehouse's Trade Union and the Trade Union organizations of affiliated units always pay attention and provide timely encouragement. At Warehouse K79, the circumstances of a number of other cadres and union members are no less difficult: Some comrades suffer from infertility, the process of monitoring and treatment requires a large amount of money; many comrades have sick wives and sick children, often have to go to the doctor and receive long-term treatment; some union members have cramped housing, and have to rent a house to stabilize their lives. Not only at Warehouse K79, but many union organizations at the grassroots level of units under Military Region 2 have many very practical activities during Workers' Month.

Learning about the reality at Warehouse K5, Technical Department, Military Region 2, we learned that Captain Nguyen Van Toan, an armored vehicle repairman, belonging to the Armored Vehicle Maintenance Team, is in a very difficult situation. Toan's wife, Bui Thi Hanh, has unfortunately suffered from an emotional disorder for nearly 10 years. Currently, every month, Hanh needs to be treated for this disease at Phu Tho Mental Hospital (Phu Tho province), while Hanh does not have a stable job. Captain Nguyen Van Toan does not have a house, and his family is currently staying at a relative's house near the unit. To create favorable conditions in terms of time to help Toan have more favorable conditions to take care of Hanh during the treatment process, on the occasion of Tet, the annual Workers' Month, the K5 Warehouse Union and trade union organizations at all levels have activities to visit, encourage, give gifts, and share difficulties with Toan's family.

According to Major Ngo Truong Vinh, Vice Chairman of the K5 Warehouse Trade Union, in recent years, the K5 Warehouse Trade Union has always paid attention to the Party members in the unit. From the capital support source of the National Defense Trade Union, in 2022, the K5 Warehouse Trade Union supported 7 cases of Party members in need of loans to develop the economy and stabilize their lives. The Warehouse Trade Union participated in considering salary increases, rank increases, special regimes, and vocational training for Party members. The Warehouse Trade Union also participated in the network of safety and hygiene workers in the unit, to monitor and supervise the work of ensuring safety in all working conditions, remind Party members to ensure safety at work, and at the same time promptly make recommendations and proposals to the commander about the difficulties and problems that Party members encounter during work; the health care regime of Party members is promptly taken care of.

Lieutenant Colonel Hoang Van Chung, Party Secretary, Political Commissar of Warehouse K5 shared: The Party Committee and the Warehouse Commander always pay attention to and direct the Trade Union organizations in the unit to closely review and grasp each case of cadres and union members whose relatives are unfortunately ill and need long-term treatment, in order to have timely visits and encouragement activities. The Party Committee and the Warehouse Commander create the best conditions in terms of time to help union members have the conditions to take care of themselves and their family members during the long-term examination and treatment process. To best ensure the rights, policies and standards that cadres and union members enjoy during their work, on holidays, Tet, and Workers' Month every year, the Party Committee and the Warehouse Commander allocate a portion of the budget to visit and encourage union members who are in difficult circumstances or sick, thereby helping cadres and union members to rise up and successfully complete all assigned tasks.
