Over the years, Phu Tho province has always paid attention to the work of preserving and promoting the cultural heritage values of the Ancestral Land, especially the two representative intangible cultural heritages of humanity, namely the Hung King Worship and Phu Tho Xoan Singing. In order to better fulfill the task of propagating and promoting the value of the heritage and attracting the attention, understanding and support of the people, the Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism has researched, proposed and received the approval of the Provincial People's Committee to develop a script and content for a historical film about the Hung King era to serve visitors at the Hung King Museum.
“The Hung Kings Era” is a historical film based on the legends of the Hung Kings era, produced in full HD animation format, using 3D effects and techniques. The film consists of 4 chapters with a total duration of 22 minutes, with general introductions about the Hung Kings era from the founding, building and defending the country.
During the production process, the Script Review Board with many experienced experts organized many review conferences to ask for comments and suggestions for the film. Up to now, after many adjustments and additions to the content, the film has been basically completed and was screened at the Hung Vuong Museum on the occasion of the Hung Vuong Ancestor Commemoration Anniversary and the Cultural - Tourism Week of the Ancestral Land in the year of At Ty - 2025.
The film "The Hung King Era" has an overview of the Hung King era from when the Hung Kings founded, built and defended the country.
Speaking at the film premiere, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Huy Ngoc praised and highly appreciated the creative idea of the historical documentary film of the Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism; sincerely thanked Associate Professor, Dr. Bui Hoai Son and the advisory experts in the Appraisal Council and the producer for actively coordinating with the Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism to successfully produce this very meaningful film.
He affirmed: The screening of the film "The Hung Kings' Era" is a meaningful activity, enriching the series of activities of the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day and the Cultural - Tourism Week of the Ancestral Land in the year of At Ty 2025. Through the screening of the film, there is an additional official information channel to help the public easily access and learn about the history and origins of the Vietnamese people through a new, easy-to-understand and easy-to-remember perspective. At the same time, it contributes to propagating, promoting, raising awareness and responsibility of the community in preserving and promoting the cultural and historical values that our ancestors left behind, further spreading the value of the two representative intangible cultural heritages of humanity, which are the Hung Kings' Worship and Phu Tho Xoan Singing. In the coming time, the Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism will coordinate with the press and media agencies of the province to actively publish and widely broadcast the film on digital platforms to continue to record the opinions and contributions of experts in the fields of history, culture and the masses, thereby continuing to edit and perfect to improve the quality of the film's content, best meeting the expectations of the people.
