On February 22, 2022, the Prime Minister issued Decision 263/QD-TTg approving the National Target Program on New Rural Development for the 2021-2025 period, including the content of "continuing to strongly implement the OCOP program".

Since the implementation of the OCOP Program under Decision No. 1943/QD-UBND dated June 8, 2022 of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, the program has made remarkable and significant progress. The Department of Tourism needs to connect tourism routes with production and business establishments of OCOP products; promote and introduce OCOP products to restaurant and hotel systems; introduce OCOP products at tourism promotion events in Ho Chi Minh City.
