Announcement of information on compulsory land acquisition to implement some projects in Thanh Thuy district

On December 17, Thanh Thuy District People's Committee held a conference to announce information on the implementation of forced land acquisition to clear the site for projects: Ba Co Urban Housing Area, Cua Hang Urban Housing Area, Thanh Thuy Town, Thanh Thuy District.

Attending the conference were representatives of Thanh Thuy District People's Committee and specialized departments of the district; representatives of project investors; leaders and representatives of news agencies and press agencies in the province and resident press agencies in the province.

The Ba Co Urban Housing Project and the Cua Hang Urban Housing Project, Thanh Thuy Town, Thanh Thuy District are two projects on the list of land acquisition by the State according to the 2013 Land Law, invested by Nam Quang Infrastructure Investment and Development Joint Stock Company with a total investment of more than 900 billion VND, and site clearance was implemented from December 2021.

In particular, the Ba Co Urban Housing Project has a total area of ​​9 hectares of agricultural land recovered from 208 households; the Cua Hang Urban Housing Project has a total area of ​​8.1 hectares recovered from 198 households and public land managed by the People's Committee of Thanh Thuy town. Based on the 2013 Land Law and guiding documents, the People's Committee of Thanh Thuy district has directed the compensation and site clearance work to ensure compliance with legal regulations and received high consensus from the people. However, both projects currently have 13 households and 15 plots of land with an area of ​​4,253.9 m2 that have not received compensation due to low compensation prices. To ensure the progress of the project according to the plan, the People's Committee of Thanh Thuy district has reported to the People's Committee and provincial departments and agencies on the organization of enforcement of the land recovery decision for 13 households in 2 projects due to non-compliance with the land recovery decision, non-receipt of compensation for site clearance, and non-handover of the site to the State. The enforcement is expected to be carried out on December 20, 2024.

At the press conference, leaders of Thanh Thuy District People's Committee and related agencies and units answered questions from the press about propaganda and mobilization work for households whose land is subject to land recovery to implement projects; procedures and plans for forced land recovery...

Thanh Thuy district leaders hope that press agencies will continue to promote the significance of the projects to the people, contributing to creating consensus on site clearance, creating favorable conditions for contractors to ensure construction progress.
