On January 6, the People's Committee of Cam Khe district held a conference to announce information on the implementation of the decision to enforce land recovery for 4 households and individuals who are using land in Dong Tam area, Cam Khe town, Cam Khe district to implement the Urban Housing and Cultural and Sports Complex Project.

The Urban Housing and Cultural and Sports Complex Project in Cam Khe Town, Cam Khe District was approved for investment by the People's Committee of Phu Tho Province on October 5, 2021 under Decision No. 2494; officially started construction on October 3, 2022; the project investor is Tuan Huy Phu Tho Joint Stock Company.

Accordingly, the approved project has a scale of 20.6 hectares, a population of over 1,600 people with a total investment of more than 1,078 billion VND, of which the project implementation cost is 1,026 billion VND, the rest is the cost of site clearance. The Urban Housing and Cultural and Sports Complex Project is implemented with the goal of building a housing area with a synchronous technical infrastructure system, meeting the housing needs of the people, completing housing indicators in Cam Khe district. In the future, it will become a bustling trading center, becoming the first modern urban area supporting industrial clusters and neighboring industrial parks.

To implement the project, in the past time, the District Compensation, Support and Resettlement Council has implemented in accordance with the State's regulations when reclaiming land: Organizing public meetings, disseminating policies when the State reclaims land and mobilizing households to comply with the declaration and inventory according to regulations... Up to now, the project has cleared 19.17/20.6 hectares of land, with 1.43 hectares still needing clearance. The District People's Committee has issued decisions to reclaim land for 4 related households and individuals, including Mr. Hoang Hong Quan and Ms. Vuong Thi Nguyen, the legal heirs of Ms. Dinh Thi Do (deceased) and Mr. Ha Vinh Quang and Nguyen Manh Truong.

Accordingly, after many times of propaganda, mobilization and persuasion but the households did not agree, did not receive compensation and support funds and hand over the site to the construction unit, the District People's Committee established a Board of Enforcement to implement the land recovery decision, and will organize the enforcement of the decision to recover 5 plots of land with a total area of ​​over 5,300m2 for 4 households and individuals subject to enforcement.

According to the plan, the enforcement of the decision to reclaim land from these 4 households and individuals will begin at 7:30 a.m. on January 9, 2025 to affirm the strictness of the law and ensure the progress of the project. From now until the enforcement date, departments, branches, organizations, and the Cam Khe town government will continue to meet, propagate, explain, and mobilize households and individuals to agree to avoid enforcement.
