Accordingly, the Phu Loc District Party Committee was established under the Hue City Party Committee under the Central Government on the basis of merging all Party organizations and Party members of the Nam Dong District Party Committee and the Phu Loc District Party Committee (old). The term of the Phu Loc District Party Committee (new) is 2020 - 2025, officially operating from January 1, 2025. Along with that, the decision appointed Mr. Luu Duc Hoan as Secretary of the Phu Loc District Party Committee.

Establishment of Thuan Hoa District Party Committee under the Hue City Party Committee under the Central Government on the basis of separating the Hue City Party Committee (old) under the Thua Thien - Hue Provincial Party Committee, including 91 party organizations. The term of the Thuan Hoa District Party Committee is 2020 - 2025, officially operating from January 1, 2025. Along with that, the decision appointed Mr. Phan Thien Dinh - Secretary of the Hue City Party Committee (old) as Secretary of the District Party Committee.

Establishment of Phu Xuan District Party Committee under the Hue City Party Committee under the Central Government on the basis of separating the Hue City Party Committee (old) under the Thua Thien - Hue Provincial Party Committee. The term of Phu Xuan District Party Committee is 2020 - 2025, officially operating from January 1, 2025. Along with that, the decision appointed Mr. Vo Le Nhat - Chairman of the People's Committee of Hue City (old) as Secretary of the District Party Committee.

Decision to change the name of Phong Dien District Party Committee under Thua Thien - Hue Provincial Party Committee to Phong Dien Town Party Committee under Hue City Party Committee under the Central Government.

Transfer the entire party organization of Phong Dien District Party Committee to Phong Dien Town Party Committee and change the name accordingly to the new name of the party committee. Based on the personnel of the Party Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretary, Deputy Secretary, and Inspection Committee of Phong Dien District, the names will be changed to the Party Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretary, Deputy Secretary, and Inspection Committee of Phong Dien Town Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Le Truong Luu, Secretary of Thua Thien - Hue Provincial Party Committee, sent his congratulations to the Party Committee, government and people of Phu Xuan, Thuan Hoa districts, Phu Loc district and Phong Dien town.

Mr. Le Truong Luu emphasized that becoming a centrally-governed city is an opportunity for Hue to become one of the major centers, especially in culture, tourism and specialized healthcare; creating many opportunities to attract investment and develop the economy, improving the quality of life of the people. Hue will have the opportunity to better exploit its potential and strengths in heritage and culture; creating new opportunities and chances to continue to exploit and develop.
