Leaders of Hanoi Medical University presented the Resolution and Decision to appoint Dr. Le Van Cuong, Deputy Director of Thanh Hoa Department of Health, concurrently holding the position of Deputy Director of Hanoi Medical University Branch in Thanh Hoa.

At the ceremony, the representative of the leadership of Hanoi Medical University Branch in Thanh Hoa announced the Resolution and Decision to appoint Dr. Le Van Cuong, Deputy Director of Thanh Hoa Department of Health, concurrently holding the position of Deputy Director of Hanoi Medical University Branch in Thanh Hoa under Hanoi Medical University.

On behalf of the leaders of Hanoi Medical University, comrade Phan Thi Thu Huong, Party Secretary, Chairman of the Council of Hanoi Medical University congratulated Dr. Le Van Cuong on being honored to be trusted and appointed to the position of Deputy Director of Hanoi Medical University Branch in Thanh Hoa.

At the same time, further develop the close relationship between Hanoi Medical University, the Branch, and the Health sector of Thanh Hoa province with the goal of training solid scientific and professional resources, improving the quality of scientific research activities, and building an academic - clinical - community medical ecosystem to serve the cause of caring for and protecting people's health.

Dr. Le Van Cuong graduated with a Medical Doctor degree from Hanoi Medical University in 2002; a Cardiology Resident Doctor from Hanoi Medical University in 2006; a Master's degree in Health Planning and Policy from Leeds University (UK) in 2014; and a Doctor of Medicine from the 108 Institute of Clinical Medicine and Pharmacy in 2017.

With more than 20 years of working in the health sector, Dr. Le Van Cuong has held many leadership and management positions at Thanh Hoa Provincial General Hospital. During the period of 2018 - 2023, as Deputy Director of the Hospital, he demonstrated solid professional capacity, flexible management skills and a high sense of responsibility, making an important contribution to improving the quality of medical examination and treatment, developing specialized techniques and building a team of medical staff with professional qualifications and medical ethics.

With his outstanding contributions to the health sector, he has received many certificates of merit from the Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee and a Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister in 2021. Currently, he is holding the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Health of Thanh Hoa province.

Comrade Le Van Cuong was absolutely trusted by the School Board and the School leadership to be nominated to hold the position of Deputy Director of Hanoi Medical University Branch in Thanh Hoa.
