On the morning of July 28, the People's Committee of Kim Son district, the Department of Science and Technology in coordination with the Center for Technology Research and Intellectual Property CIPTEK held a conference to announce the Certificate of Registration of the "Kim Son Oyster Seed" Certification Trademark for oyster seed products of Kim Son district, Ninh Binh province.
Attending the conference were representatives of the leaders: District People's Committee, Department of Science and Technology, Department of Agriculture and Rural Development; representatives of oyster seed production and trading establishments in Kim Son district.
After 24 months of implementation, the project was successfully completed, achieving all set goals.
Previously, on February 15, 2023, the Department of Intellectual Property issued a decision to grant Registration Certificate No. 444527 for the Certification Trademark "Kim Son Oyster Seed", owned and managed by the People's Committee of Kim Son district.
The "Kim Son Oyster Seed" certification mark is officially protected for oyster seed products - one of the famous and quality products associated with the place name Kim Son, Ninh Binh.
From here, Kim Son oyster seed products will have an additional important and effective tool - an intellectual property tool in the form of certification trademark protection, contributing to preserving and promoting the reputation and quality of the product, protecting the product brand from acts of taking advantage of reputation to sell poor quality products that discredit Kim Son oyster seed products.
Along with that, a system of tools and means for managing and developing the "Kim Son Oyster Seed" certification mark has also been built and issued, serving as a basis for the People's Committee of Kim Son district to enforce the rights of the owner of the certification mark such as: granting the right to use to entities that meet the conditions of use according to regulations; controlling the use and having a basis for handling and preventing acts of infringement of the rights to the "Kim Son Oyster Seed" certification mark in the future.
"Kim Son oyster seeds" with the certified trademark will contribute to introducing the potential, strengths and promoting local oyster seed products to customers inside and outside the province.
At the same time, it contributes to preventing and promptly handling acts of infringement of the "Kim Son Oyster Seed" certification trademark, fighting against acts of commercial fraud and unfair competition.
