On January 14, Hoa Binh Provincial Police announced a hotline to contribute to building a drug-free society. Specifically, the hotline number to receive information about drug crimes is: 0379.578.927 .

Along with the above hotline numbers, the Provincial Police also publicized a list of personal phone numbers of district and commune police leaders so that people can proactively provide information.

According to the Hoa Binh Provincial Police, in recent times, under the leadership of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee, the work of preventing, combating and controlling drugs has achieved important results; the awareness and responsibility of all levels, sectors, cadres, party members and people towards the work of preventing, stopping, fighting and handling crimes have had many positive changes.

Along with the announcement of the hotline, Hoa Binh Provincial Police requested departments, branches, unions and socio-political organizations from the province to villages, neighborhoods... to continue to enhance their sense of responsibility, actively coordinate with functional forces in the fight against crime and drug abuse; regularly propagate and mobilize families and relatives to stay away from drugs.

The provincial police call on all people to report drug-related violations to the nearest authorities or via the hotline number.

"The authorities always ensure the confidentiality of whistleblowers' information, as well as the regimes, policies and benefits of whistleblowers according to regulations," Hoa Binh Provincial Police affirmed.

Nghe An police reported arresting a drug ring led by a commune chairman . The ringleader was Mua Ba Vu (born in 1983), residing in Na Ngoi commune, Ky Son district. Vu is currently the Chairman of the People's Committee of Na Ngoi commune. The police seized 35 kg of synthetic drugs and 4 heroin cakes.
