Announcement of decisions on appointment of the position of Assistant to the General Secretary

Accordingly, the Secretariat decided to appoint Lieutenant General To An Xo, Assistant to the Politburo member and Minister of Public Security, to hold the position of Assistant to the General Secretary and Head of the General Secretary's Office.

On September 4, the Party Central Office held a conference to implement the Secretariat's decisions on personnel work. Comrade Luong Cuong, Politburo member and Standing Secretary of the Secretariat, attended and presented the decisions.

Also attending were comrade Nguyen Duy Ngoc, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chief of the Party Central Committee Office; comrades of the Party Central Committee, leaders of the Party Central Committee Office, and the Central Organizing Committee.

At the conference, comrade Hoang Dang Quang, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Organization Committee, announced the decisions of the Secretariat on personnel work.

The Secretariat decided to appoint Colonel Tran Dang Quynh, Assistant to Politburo member and Minister of Public Security, to the position of Assistant to the General Secretary.

In his congratulatory and task assignment speech, comrade Luong Cuong stated that this is the recognition and appreciation of the Party, the State, and directly the Party committees at all levels of the Central Public Security Party Committee and the Central Party Office for the efforts and attempts of the comrades during their work.

The new mission is a great honor, but also places a very heavy responsibility on you in the coming time.

Comrade Luong Cuong expressed his belief that in the new position, comrades will continuously strive, practice, continue to promote their strengths and work experience, and successfully complete assigned tasks.

Along with that, comrades strengthen their responsibility to set an example, promote the spirit of solidarity, coordinate work closely, smoothly and effectively with agencies and units under the Central Party Office, contributing to the successful completion of common tasks.

Also at the conference, comrade Nguyen Duy Ngoc presented the Decision of the Chief of the Party Central Committee Office appointing Major Dinh Tien Hai, Deputy Director, Secretary of the Politburo, Minister of Public Security to hold the position of Secretary of the General Secretary.

On behalf of the comrades receiving the Decision, comrade To An Xo spoke to accept the direction of comrade Standing member of the Secretariat Luong Cuong; at the same time, emphasizing that, being fully aware of his role and responsibility, he promised to constantly strive to be worthy of the trust and successfully fulfill the assigned responsibilities.

He hopes to receive the sharing and close coordination of the leaders of agencies and units under the Central Party Office in the process of performing the task./.
