The Central Youth Union Secretariat has just announced 10 Outstanding Young Vietnamese Faces and 9 Promising Young Vietnamese Faces of 2023. The Ceremony to Honor Outstanding Young Vietnamese Faces this year is expected to take place on the evening of March 23 in Hanoi.
The 10 outstanding young Vietnamese faces are typical examples, with impressive achievements, strongly inspiring, such as: Nguyen Duc Cuong (singer Den Vau). From a young man who was a worker at an environmental sanitation company in Quang Ninh, with his love for music, Nguyen Duc Cuong became a leading Rapper in Vietnam and spread the inspiration to live and contribute to the community with the stage name Den Vau; Dr. Ngo Quoc Duy - Deputy Head of the Department of Head and Neck Surgery, K Hospital, with the first report in Southeast Asia on the successful implementation of the technique of cutting the thyroid gland using a robot through the vestibular-oral route to treat thyroid cancer. This is a milestone marking the development of the surgical profession in general, as well as in the field of thyroid surgery in particular in Vietnam; Dinh Cao Son, Gold Medal of International Chemistry with a score ranked 7th in the world.

The 2024 Outstanding Young Vietnamese Faces also include: Dr. Ha Thi Thanh Huong, Head of the Department of Regenerative Medicine, Head of the Brain Health Laboratory, International University, Ho Chi Minh City National University; Dang Duong Minh Hoang, Head of the National Luong Dinh Cua Network, Director of Thien Nong Binh Phuoc Farm, Director of Binh Phuoc Digital Agricultural Service Cooperative; Nguyen Xuan Luc, Executive Director of WATA Group Joint Stock Company; Captain Vu Van Cuong, Deputy Head of the Professional Station, Si Pha Phin Border Guard Station, Dien Bien Provincial Border Guard; Captain Le The Van, Department 3, Department of Cyber Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention and Control, Ministry of Public Security; Shooter Pham Quang Huy, high-achieving athlete of the Hai Phong shooting team and the Vietnam National Shooting Team; Dang Cat Tien, student of Thai Nguyen Secondary School, Nha Trang City, Khanh Hoa Province.

The “Outstanding Young Vietnamese Faces” Award is a noble award of the Central Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, with the purpose of honoring typical young people, under 35 years old, with outstanding achievements, creating a wide spread in the community about their efforts and striving to excel in the fields of study, scientific research, physical education, sports, labor, production, and national defense.
