Tam Thanh Commune Police help tourists find lost property

According to initial information, at around 10:30 a.m. on April 20, Mr. Dinh Ba Duy (born in 1991, residing in Hoa Binh province) went to Tam Thanh Commune Police to report that he had dropped a black handbag on the concrete road near the flagpole of Phu Quy island, in Trieu Duong village, Tam Thanh commune. Inside the bag were a smartphone, two headphones, a diving goggles and some important personal items. Immediately after receiving the information, Tam Thanh Commune Police promptly deployed professional measures. The authorities quickly arrived at the scene to verify the situation, and at the same time coordinated to extract images from security cameras around the area to serve the search.

Thanks to the dedication and determination in handling the case, after only about an hour, at 11:30 a.m. the same day, the Commune Police identified the handbag as having been accidentally picked up by another tourist. The police force persuaded the person who picked up the property to voluntarily hand over all the belongings to the authorities. Immediately afterwards, Tam Thanh Commune Police invited Mr. Dinh Ba Duy to the headquarters to receive the handbag. Upon inspection, all the property was still intact and was returned to the owner in full. The tourist expressed his emotion and gratitude for the responsible and enthusiastic working spirit of the local police.
