Police investigate case of tourists standing on truck bed to 'try strange feeling'

On February 10, Moc Chau Town Police (Son La) investigated the incident in which a group of tourists stood on the back of a pickup truck to visit.

On February 10, the Traffic Police Team, Moc Chau Town Police received a report about a driver of a car carrying people in a cargo container while participating in traffic.

After receiving the incident, the Traffic Police Team coordinated with Chieng Hac Commune Police to invite the person involved to the police station for questioning.

At the police station, driver HAP (28 years old, residing in Chieng Hac commune, Moc Chau town) confessed that on February 9, a group of tourists came to visit the area and asked him to take them for a short trip to "try a strange feeling". Although he refused, due to the nature of the tourist area, Mr. P. agreed to take the group for a short trip.

According to Mr. P., the family's GATZ 66 pickup truck has been owned for nearly 30 years and is only valuable as a souvenir and is not used in traffic.

The case is being handled by the Traffic Police Team of Moc Chau Town Police in coordination with Chieng Hac Commune Police according to regulations.
