Ninh Thuan Provincial Police: Actively participate in eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses

On March 25, the Steering Committee for the Construction of New Housing and Rehabilitation of Quang Son Commune (Ninh Son) held a groundbreaking ceremony to build a house for Mr. Vo Khanh, born in 1956, residing in Hanh Tri 1 Village. After the groundbreaking ceremony, the Quang Son Commune Police arranged officers and soldiers to support Mr. Khanh's family in dismantling the old house to build a new one. The project is determined to be completed before April 30, 2025; at the same time, the unit mobilized 4 million VND to transfer to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Son Commune to contribute to the construction of new housing for households with housing difficulties.

Provincial police force supports people to build houses.

In Van Hai Ward (Phan Rang - Thap Cham City), recently, the police officers of the ward supported 2 households in difficult circumstances to build new houses under the XNT, NDN program. Major Tong Van Sac, Deputy Chief of Van Hai Ward Police shared: XNT, NDN is a major policy, with profound humanity of the Party and State, helping households with difficult housing conditions to "settle down and make a living" and gradually improve their lives. As soon as it was implemented, the officers of Van Hai Ward Police enthusiastically participated, contributing daily wages, supporting working days, and actively mobilizing funds for the XNT, NDN Fund of the ward to support households.

According to statistics, Ninh Thuan province currently has about 2,000 houses in need of support for new construction and repair. As of March 25, the whole province has implemented 655 houses, of which 524 houses were newly built and 131 houses were repaired. Contributing to the emulation movement "Joining hands to build houses and build houses" of the province, up to now, Ninh Thuan Provincial Police has mobilized officers and soldiers in the entire force to support more than 500 million VND for the program of building houses and building houses.

In addition to funding, Ninh Thuan Provincial Police also directed local police to thoroughly educate officers and soldiers to participate in supporting people in transporting materials and dismantling old houses to build new ones. At the same time, 4 shock teams with 20 officers and soldiers on duty were established, equipped with ready means to support units and households in the process of constructing new houses and repairing houses. From the beginning of March until now, police units and localities have arranged 258 officers and soldiers and members of the grassroots security force to contribute 489 working days to support households, helping them save part of the labor cost. Notably, Xuan Hai Commune Police (Ninh Hai), Nhon Son Commune Police (Ninh Son), Phuoc Ha Commune Police (Thuan Nam), Mobile Police Department...

With practical and meaningful actions, Ninh Thuan Provincial Police have contributed to the local government to speed up the progress and strive to complete the target of XNT and NDN in the province by next June. The activities of the provincial police force once again demonstrate the motto "When the people need, when the people are in trouble, there is the police", contributing to strengthening the close relationship between the people and the police force in the work of ensuring security and order, building a solid "people's security posture".

Previously, responding to the emulation movement "Joining hands to implement XNT and NDN nationwide in 2025" launched by the Prime Minister and the Ministry of Public Security, officers and soldiers of Ninh Thuan Provincial Police contributed funds to implement XNT and NDN in Cao Bang and Gia Lai provinces with a total amount of more than 1.2 billion VND.
