On the afternoon of July 3, Thanh Ha District Police temporarily detained the driver's license of Mr. D.D.Q. (born in 1985, in Ngoc Xuyen Ward, Do Son District, Hai Phong City). This is the first case of traffic safety violation in which the District Police Traffic Police temporarily detained the driver's license integrated on the VNeID application.

Earlier, in the afternoon of the same day, Mr. Q. drove a car on Provincial Road 390 at a speeding speed. Thanh Ha District Police asked Mr. Q. to stop the car and check. After presenting his documents, the District Police drew up an administrative violation record, imposed an administrative fine of 5 million VND on Mr. Q., temporarily detained his electronic driver's license on the Ministry of Public Security 's administrative violation handling data system, and checked the "Driver's license is temporarily detained" section. Mr. Q. has 7 days to pay the fine online through the system from the date of receiving the penalty decision.
After paying the fine, Mr. Q. continued to have his driver's license revoked for 2 months in the database system.
