On the morning of April 21, Thuan An Ward Police, Thuan Hoa District ( Hue City) completed the procedures to return lost property and personal documents to Engesrath Hemdat Daniel (born 2002, Israeli nationality).
Previously, at 4:00 p.m. on April 20, a group of students went to Thuan An beach, Thuan An ward to have fun and picked up a black handbag containing a passport, driver's license, and credit card of a foreigner named Engesrath Hemdat Daniel along with 200 USD and more than 1 million VND.

Immediately afterwards, the group of students handed over the bag to Mr. Pham Ngoc Lam, Head of the Security and Order Protection Team at An Hai Residential Group, Thuan An Ward, while Mr. Lam was on duty at the beach. After receiving the bag, Mr. Lam quickly brought it to the Thuan An Ward Police Station to report and ask the ward police officers to find the tourist and return the property.

After coordinating with Hue City Police units to verify, Thuan An Ward Police quickly identified Engesrath Hemdat Daniel as staying at a hotel in Hue City, so they reported the incident and invited this tourist to the Ward Police headquarters to return the property.
Receiving the bag back, Mr. Daniel expressed his joy and wrote a thank you letter to the Thuan An Ward Police and Mr. Pham Ngoc Lam.
Daniel said that he and his group of friends traveled through many countries in Southeast Asia and Vietnam was the last destination before he returned to Israel. However, when he visited Hue, he unfortunately lost his bag and was fortunately assisted by the Thuan An Ward Police to get his belongings back, including his passport, an important document to help him return to his homeland.
